Hi! I’m Linds, a part-time van dweller and adventurer, self-taught creative & founder of The Brand Obsessed. I established TBO in 2022 after a huge *lightbulb* moment, finally figuring out a way to blend my two passions: social justice and social media. Aka - helping world-changing brands reach their people and build a better world through social media!
Though I am a social worker (MSW) turned social media manager (SMM), I am not new to the social game. Before the general public began accepting influencing as a valid profession, I started out in 2016-2017 as a part-time travel influencer under the name @GingerGoneGlobal. It was then that I feel in love with content creation, collaborating with brands, making connections and building a community through social. I've since then retired GGG, but I will always be thankful for the fire it lit in me and the influencer community I still feel supported by to this day.
After having over 2.5 years of experience killing it as a SMM for a large craft beverage brand, as a freelancer, and investing in furthering my education, taking as many courses about SMM and brand design I could get my hands on, I figured it was time to finally, officially, do the damn thing.
Stepping into this role and building TBO from the ground up has been a full circle moment for me. It's let me get in touch with little Lindsay again. As a kid, I used to have this expansive creativity, adventurous spirit, with wild dreams of helping others with my own business. Her dreams are finally coming true.
